CBA Survey: The Impact of COVID-19

Covid-19 has caused a level of disruption unprecedented in recent history. Already fragile, the survival of the criminal bar, for both chambers and individual practitioners, is now at stake.

We have been working hard to to obtain financial relief from the Government. But the time has now come for us to ask each of you for your help. We need you to tell us how COVID-19 is impacting on your life.

Here is the survey referred to in the Monday Message

For obvious reasons we have set a very short deadline – it must be completed by 4pm this Friday 8th May.

The survey will ask about the impact of COVID-19 on your income, workload, caring responsibilities and wellbeing. It is vital that each of you answers all of the questions. This will ensure that we have the best possible evidence base to work from in our ongoing discussions with the Government.

Please complete the survey and help us push for the immediate financial relief that we all need, we have included questions which you may consider quite basic but this information will assist with our push with the Treasury.   It should take you no more than 5 minutes.
