Justice Week
Justice Week background and aims
Our starting point is that justice is fundamental to our national values and our daily lives; that it underpins our rights and values and is a core principle on which our society, economy and democracy so heavily depend.
With the Government’s response to the LASPO review and the Comprehensive Spending Review just months away, there is an urgent need to raise the profile of justice and to demonstrate that it is fundamental to everyone in society. More information on Justice Week is available here.
Justice Week is a new, joint initiative of the Bar Council, CILEx and The Law Society. It has the ambitious aims of promoting the value of justice and the rule of law, and building support for campaigns to improve the quality of justice and access to our justice system for all citizens.
