CBA Press Release – 29.11.17 – QASA

The Bar Standards Board has this morning announced that it will not be implementing the QASA Scheme. Please see the press release here.

 

“This is a very welcome announcement.

 

We note that the Board has said that it remains committed to ensuring quality advocacy. We will work together to ensure and maintain the highest possible standards.

 

The CBA will continue to educate and train our members in conjunction with the Bar Council, the Circuits, the Inns and Chambers. We know that barristers will comply with the new CPD scheme and keep on providing world class criminal advocacy.”
