Message from the CBA Chair: Listing Advice

Further to the Listing Advice document issued by the Senior Presiding Judge to Resident and Presiding Judges on 9th January 2023, the SPJ further clarifies that it is implicit in the Listing Advice that, to avoid ineffective trials, Counsel’s availability is a relevant factor in exercising the judicial function of listing for trial whether by fixtures or “warned lists’ (see in particular § 6 and § 9).
