S28 Fees Update

The new CPS section 28 fee will increase shortly from £670 (plus VAT) to £1,000 (plus VAT). The new rate will apply to all new section 28 cases from 15th January 2024 and to existing section 28 cases where the trial/main hearing is part-heard on that date.

Further guidance on the implementation and application of the new fee will be issued by the CPS early in the new year when we will update you further.
